SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO WINE FESTIVALS Memorial Day Southern New Mexico Wine Festival, Southern NM State Fairgrounds, Las Cruces, Noon - 6:00 pm daily. This oldest of our festival offerings kicks off the summer season. A crowd of over 12,000 makes the event an annual start to summer, tasting wines from around the state and learning, during hourly seminars, about wine and how to pair it with food. Live music from your favorite local bands, and a growing repertoire of up and coming national bands, keeps everyone's toes tapping as they enjoy the wine, shop for unique arts and crafts and a wide variety of agricultural products, or just enjoy the fun in the sun. Harvest Wine Festival, Southern NM State Fairgrounds, Las Cruces, Noon - 6:00 pm daily. We begin the summer and end the summer with wine festivals. This time of year the fruit hangs heavy on the vine and is already being harvested. Join us for a celebration of the harvest with live music, a large variety of wines to sample, arts and crafts, food, wine tasting seminars, and of course a grape stomp. Albuquerque Wine Festival, Balloon Fiesta Park, Noon - 6:00 pm daily. Located at the famous Balloon Fiesta grounds, the Albuquerque Wine Festival combines wines from around the state, arts and crafts, food, live music, and educational opportunities on the lush grass near the golf course.
